Hey Everyone!
After spending some time getting used to the SPCrew site, I noticed that we always do scrapbooks/presents for the guys birthdays. I want to try to do a similar thing for the upcoming 10th Anniversary of the release of No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls, Simple Plan’s first album.
This started as just a small project for the fan club, but I want to open it up to all of the Astronauts out there, because this is a really special occasion and I want to give it it’s due. Anyone who’s been impacted by their music knows how amazing they are and it’s only fair that we try to show them that it’s appreciated.
The final product is going to be a facsimile of the original CD with a tracklisting and everything. Anyone who contributes is going to be listed in the “thank you’s” and also by their contribution with a mini bio. Please send me your name, age, state/country, and twitter with your submission so I can put together your bio. Contributions can be, well, anything! Artwork, poetry, a story about when you saw them play a certain song live, etc. Even how that song may have impacted your life. I only ask that you keep each contribution about one song only so that it can be organized correctly in the ‘CD’, but you can make as many contributions as you’d like!

Even though the official anniversary is March 19th, I’m going to see them a month earlier on Feb 19th, so I’d like to get all submissions by Jan 31st. Obviously nothing is set in stone, but the sooner the better so I can buy supplies and start working on putting everything together.
